I was making a site for a non-profit and we wanted to use Stripe, which requires SSL. I went down the path with COMODO until they needed a DUNS number which this singing group did not have… After a few days and a lot of hassle trying to get the certificate issued, I found wpFortify. For 5 cents per order, they provide a super-secure cloud-based conduit to Stripe. I no longer needed the SSL for this singing group and boy, was I happy. It was simple to implement and they even added conditional logic with Gravity Forms for me. This is a great plug-in! It works like a charm, saves the hassle of installing SSL on low transaction servers and, the team behind it is supportive and responsive. Do not hesitate to download and use wpFortify!
