JW Gallery replaces WooCommerce’s default product gallery on variable products with a per-attribute image gallery system. Assign a set of images to each variation term (e.g. each colour), and the gallery automatically switches when the customer selects a variation.

  • Settings page (WooCommerce > Gallery Settings) to control:
    • Thumbnail strip layout (columns, gap, active outline colour)
    • Whether default product images are appended to attribute galleries
    • Lightbox theme (light, dark, dim) and background opacity
    • Max lightbox image size with a one-click thumbnail regeneration tool
  • Automatically updates gallery data if a WooCommerce attribute slug is renamed
  • Cleans up gallery data when a variation term is removed or deleted

  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress
